DuCKLinG

DuCKLinG is a fast 1D model that can be used to interpret JWST/MIRI spectra of protoplanetary disks. The repository with the code is publicly available and you are very welcome to use it. If you are just starting, I recommend checking out the hands-on session that introduces the basic functionalities of the code including simple retrievals.

If the code is useful for your research, please get in touch (t.kaeufer@exeter.ac.uk). I’m very happy to discuss your project and will hopefully be able to help you with any problems regarding the code.

For an introduction to DuCKLinG, see the first DuCKLinG paper that benchmarked the model and fitted GWLup.

Additionally, this model has been applied in a paper to disentangle the dust and gas contributions of the JWST/MIRI spectrum of a very low-mass star.
